Client Testimonials
We invite interested parties to speak with current and past clients. Here is what our recent clients and trainees have had to say:
My teachers reported that this was a fantastic course, and one said it was the best they have taken in their 20 years of teaching
The 20 students in my class learned more this year, through my application of what I learned at the Shoreline OG course, than ever before. Their aimsweb scores reflect this. They know so many rules and are so proud of themselves!
I completed the CE and Associate course with Shoreline, and they were phenomenal. I reached out to our Assistant Superintendent the day after the course telling her to send more teachers to this training.
I just want to take a moment to thank PPS for this training opportunity. The presenters were all fabulous and truly their passion for OG and getting children to read was evident! This is how all teachers should learn how to teach reading - how much better off all our students would be. Thanks so much again!
After taking this course, I feel like I do when I’ve finished a great book. I’m really glad I read it and I’m sad it’s over. Thank you so much for the great course, and for all this wonderful information!
My learning through the Shoreline OG coursework and practicum has made a real difference for my students. One of my students had poor attendance at the start of the year. Since beginning OG lessons, my student’s attendance has improved, and other teachers have commented that he is showing up to academic classes and is more willing to participate. He is seeing daily success in OG lessons, which are planned to meet his needs. This is the benefit of an approach, and it is making a meaningful difference for my students!
Watching my student’s transformation this year has been nothing short of inspiring. At the beginning of the year, many of them approached reading with hesitation, and spelling felt like an overwhelming task. Now, they are not only applying the rules we have learned, but they are also taking risks, trusting themselves, and demonstrating true independence in their literacy skills.
My experience with Shoreline Reading has completely transformed the way I approach reading instruction. I have gained a deeper understanding of structured literacy, strengthened my ability to explicitly teach phonics and spelling rules, and sharpened my skills in assessing and responding to student needs.
Although I have implemented various structured literacy programs in the past, I often encountered a stalemate in student progress. However, with the OG Approach, that frustration has disappeared. The diagnostic-prescriptive nature of OG and the continuous review of skills ensure that students truly master concepts before moving forward. This systematic Approach eliminates gaps in learning and fosters consistent, measurable growth for my students. Thank you, Beth and Lisa, for a wonderful experience!
