My learning through the Shoreline OG coursework and practicum has made a real difference for my students. One of my students had poor attendance at the start of the year. Since beginning OG lessons, my student’s attendance has improved, and other teachers have commented that he is showing up to academic classes and is more willing to participate. He is seeing daily success in OG lessons, which are planned to meet his needs. This is the benefit of an approach, and it is making a meaningful difference for my students!
Watching my student’s transformation this year has been nothing short of inspiring. At the beginning of the year, many of them approached reading with hesitation, and spelling felt like an overwhelming task. My experience with Shoreline Reading has completely transformed the way I approach reading instruction.
